KCME broadcasts classical music, 24-hours a day with programming that appeals to adults as well as younger listeners. Special programs include "Live from the Metropolitan Opera", "Classics for Kids"' "From the Top" - appealing to young listeners from the 6th grade through high school. KCME is supported by its listeners, and does not accept funding from any governmental source. KCME broadcasts in the Chaffee County area on 89.5 - and has been part of the Chaffee County broadcast presence since 1999.
