Campgrounds and RV Parks
Many visitors to Salida and the central Colorado region prefer to set up a base of operations in a campground or RV park. Here, they can feel closer to the outdoor paradise known as Colorado's Rocky Mountains. With this choice, it's all about nature, family, friends, and flexibility in travel.

The Sand Dunes Pool, also known as the "Hooper Pool" features a naturally hot artesian swimming pool with water that ranges from 98 to 100 degrees F and a hotter, 25-person therapy pool with temperatures from 105 to 107 degrees F. Swimming lessons are available and special events are held, check the website for details. The pool offers a concession stand with large menu, including salads with homegrown produce.
