Since my first pottery class at Earlham College, working with clay became one of my passions. I never tire of taking glorified mud and transforming it into functional pieces that are useful and beautiful at the same time. Inspiration for my forms and glaze colors are found in the natural world around me as well as from historical and contemporary potters.
I use a stoneware clay that fires to a very high temperature and all of my glazes are lead-free. This ensures that the finished pieces will be durable, food safe, and suitable for everyday use.

Dec 2024 - The studio is brimming over with pots that would love to become special gifts for friends and family as well as treasured pieces to add to your collection of stoneware pottery.
